When can I expect to receive a response after applying for a position?
We aim to get back to all applicants to confirm whether they have been successful with their application in reaching the next stage of the recruitment process. This can take between one and two weeks from receipt of your application. At some times throughout the year we experience a higher volume of applications and it can sometimes take a bit longer.
What happens after I have applied?
If we feel you match the criteria for the role you are applying for, you will either receive an email or phone call to invite you in for an interview either to our London or Chichester office. If you have not been successful in the role you are applying for, you will receive an email letting you know this.
What is the interview process?
Typically there will be a phone interview followed by a first interview stage. If you are successful following this, there will be a second interview. For certain positions including management roles there is sometimes a third interview stage.
What is the dress code for the interview?
We would recommend that candidates dress smartly for their interview.
Where are the interviews based?
Depending on the position you are applying for and the location (London or Chichester), your interview will be in either of these office locations.
Will I have to do any tests / in tray exercises at the interview?
This will depend upon the position you are applying for, but for the majority of the roles we recruit for there will be some in tray exercises for you to complete when you arrive at your interview. Typically these will take between 30-45 minutes to complete and will be exercises that relate to the role you are applying for.
How long does the interview last?
The interview will last approximately 1-2 hours. If the interview process requires in tray exercises it will last for an additional 30-45 minutes.
What are the working hours?
Our opening hours in the UK are 8.00am – 7.00pm (Monday to Friday) and 9.00am – 5.00pm (Saturday). Travel Consultants are required to work one of the following shifts (with an hour for lunch each day):
8.00am – 5.00pm, 9.00am – 6.00pm or 10.00am – 7.00pm (Mondays to Thursdays)
8.00am – 4.30pm, 9.00am – 5.30pm or 10.30am – 7.00pm (Fridays)
Travel Consultants may be required to work weekends
For non-sales roles the working hours are 9.00am – 6.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9.00am – 5.30pm on Friday.

Yes, we always welcome speculative CVs. We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced Travel Consultants who are keen to develop their careers further. Please let us know what area of the business you are keen to work in and detail this in your covering letter. If you are applying speculatively for any travel sales roles please detail all of your travel history.
