Villa Concierge

Locations: Côte d'Azur, Mallorca

As a Villa Concierge you will be working as a part of a small team running one of our luxury villas in Mallorca or the South of France. You will be working closely with the villa and resort team, ensuring the Scott Dunn standards are maintained at all times. You will also be the main point of contact for the guests, dealing with all their requests and requirements and therefore hospitality experience is essential in this job.

The summer programme requires a well-motivated team who are able to work independently and take overall responsibility of their property and guests experience from service to general property care. Due to the remote locations of some of our villas, a full UK/EU driving licence is essential.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of Scott Dunn service
  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with guests each week, ensuring they are informed of all local events and updated on any relevant information that may enhance their stay
  • Ensure the villa is continually kept to a high level of cleanliness
  • Create a warm and friendly environment
  • Alongside the rest of the villa team, take responsibility for the villa – this includes cleanliness, maintenance, communication and overall guest service and experience
  • Full concierge and hosting service
  • Help and advise guests with reservations for activities, attractions and restaurants
  • Independently gain local knowledge and continue to research this information on a regular basis
  • Delivery of the villa welcome speech and guest information
  • Manage every aspect of the property, eg. air conditioning, shade by the pool, access to the property
  • Assist in preparing light bites, coolers, bread, breakfast, lunch, canapés and a four course evening dinner
  • Serve and clear breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Ensure that tables are suitably laid at breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Work alongside the villa maid to ensure the property is kept clean and tidy
  • On the maids day off, manage the cleaning of the villa
  • Purchase and manage all villa beverage stock such as wine, beer and mixers

Essential requirements

  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Relevant customer service experience
  • Experience in waitressing or house keeping
  • Basic Academics including Maths, English and IT
  • Full UK/EU driving licence
  • Available for the whole season – May until end of September
  • UK/EU passport
  • UK National Insurance number
  • UK bank account

Desirable attributes

  • Work experience in Michelin starred establishments, functions, corporate hospitality, yachts, previous ski seasons and luxury travel companies
  • Second language – French or Spanish preferred
