Children’s Watersports Instructor

Location: Greece

This role is the perfect opportunity for watersports professionals who wish to progress in the job they love, in a stunning environment, with a growing company. This role involves working with children aged 5 to 13 years delivering an action packed programme of activities on the water which will include sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding and kayaking. Our watersports instructors are enthusiastic and motivated individuals who provide a really fun and varied programme that gets children excited about getting out on the water.

Our team are flexible and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the children have a fun-filled and enjoyable time, which is what keeps families coming back to us year after year. The resorts may have incredible facilities for children but it is our team that really counts and makes the difference.

In your spare time you will be exploring hidden beaches, seeking out unspoilt villages and enjoying the local delicacies and culture. Main responsibilities

  • Ensure that our guests and their children benefit from the highest level of childcare and watersports instruction
  • Plan a variety of age and group size appropriate watersports activities each week
  • Be confident in dealing with guests
  • Liaise with our UK offices, the children’s club manager and other staff and work as a team

Essential Requirements

  • RYA watersports instructor (sailing or windsurfing but desirable to have both)
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  • Experience in teaching children a range of watersports
  • Excellent awareness of health and safety issues
  • Excellent self-motivation
  • Excellent people skills / customer service skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Water confident
  • Available for the whole season – April to October
  • UK/EU passport
  • UK national insurance number
  • UK bank account

Desirable Attributes

  • Previous experience of working overseas at a watersports centre
  • Motorised watersports experience/qualification
