Resort Accounts Administrator

Resort: Val d'Isère (France)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a premier ski resort as a Resort Accounts Administrator.  The position is responsible for supporting the UK Finance team whilst being based in resort by completing weekly accounts, conducting regular business reporting and liaising with local suppliers and team members in our French resorts.

This role will appeal to a strong, independent all rounder that has impeccable attention to detail, who enjoys working closely with the operational seasonal teams to understand the processes involved and is looking to further their career in an overseas setting.


  • Ensure that all our suppliers benefit from the highest possible level of Scott Dunn service
  • Manage the resort accounts:
    • Receiving receipts/accounts from Chefs and Resort Managers
    • Inputting and reconciling all local transactions
    • Producing detailed reporting and communicating results to the UK Finance team
    • Implementing monthly and weekly deadlines for resort accounts
  • Responsibility for monies in resort:
    • Ensuring all monies are accounted for
    • Handling all Chef budgets in cash (money in/money out)
    • Accounting for all travel floats to/from resort
    • Record cash movements within the financial operating system and deal with their queries where necessary
    • Regular management and top-up of chef credit cards
  • Responsibility of resort invoices:
    • Ensuring correct invoices are received from local suppliers and within agreed timeframe
    • The coding of invoices for the UK Finance team
    • The processing of invoices into the company system
    • Reconciliation of ski pass arrangements and commission payments
    • Liaison with suppliers to set up the agreed payment methods including direct debits
  • Responsibility for payments in resort
  • Maintain and develop good relations with all existing/new suppliers and contractors such as ski schools, shops and restaurants
  • Keep suppliers well informed of all transactions and payments.
  • Act as an ambassador for Scott Dunn in resort

Please note that prior to departure to resort, you will be working with our UK Finance team beforehand to undertake training.


  • Previous experience of working in an accounts support role with the ability to troubleshoot when required
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage accounts
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fluency or a confident level of conversational French language skill is required as you will need to liaise with the local suppliers in resort
