After studying French at University I decided to spend a bit longer in France and ended up staying for 3 years. I started off working as Head of Customer Services in a hotel in Tignes, and then did a summer season in Corsica before ending up as a Resort Administrator in Val d’Isère.
Now I’m now part of the HR team at Scott Dunn where I look after recruitment and help with the management of the office.
Having travelled all over Europe, for my next holiday I would love to go a bit further afield to somewhere like Australia or New Zealand. I love being in London closer to my family but I’m always wondering where I’d like to visit next!
- Winter – Tignes, Val d’Isere
- Summer – Corsica
- Do seasons in different places if you can – it’s a great way to combine travelling and working
- Try and pick up some of the local language, these skills will be useful while you’re in resort and can look really good on your CV
